| Summer 2009 |
This summer our chapter's newly elected council members attended the Kappa Delta National Convention at Disney World in Orlando, FL. At the convention, our sisters learned about Kappa Delta's new programming at workshops, voted for the new National Council members, met fellow KDs from across the country, and much more. In addition, we are ecstatic to report that we were honored with two awards, the Recognition Award for being one of the nation's top chapters and the Chapter Advisory Board Award of Excellence! Congratulations to Alex Winfree, our KD Lady of the Month for March 2009!
Alex deserves a round of applause for all of her hard work during Alumni weekend, thank you so much for everything you have done. By the end of the weekend, she ahd learned almost every alumna by name and truly took the time to get to know each of them. Alex has made this event a great success and it has not gone unnoticed!

Sister Margaret DeWees, our new Vice President of Public Relations, has been hard at work planning out the upcoming school year. She has also done an amazing job with the first edition of our brand new newsletter, The Teddy-Gram!
The Teddy-Gram will serve as an important link between our active sisters and alumnae, parents, and friends. Included are recent events in our chapter as well as upcoming tidbits. CLICK HERE to take a look!

Our chapter room is featured on the cover of the Spring 2008 Rollins Alumni Record! The Alumni Record magazine features campus news, class news, updates and articles about alumni and their pursuits, faculty profiles, alumni event pictures, Homecoming news and more. In its newest issue, the Kappa Delta chapter room is on the cover as part of a feature concerning the extensive campus-wide residence hall renovations. Our house, Fox Hall, was the first residence hall to be completely renovated and re-decorated. The 2006 renovation has served as a model for subsequent renovations on campus. We held a Girl Scout event at our house and taught the local Central Florida Girl Scout Troop about self-esteem and friendship. Afterwards, we brought the girls to the Rollins Spring Extravaganza event where they took part in lots of fun Easter-themed games and events! For more pictures, check out our photo galleries!

Thank you to all who attended our annual Shamrock and Chairty Denim charity events and making it a great success! We raised just over $3000 from these events, proceeds of which will go directly to Prevent Child Abuse America. Congratulations to our Big Man on Campus winner, Colby Loetz!
